Welcome to my practice. I help people get recognize and change thought patterns and behaviors that limit their lives, with a warm and empathic style, using evidence-based treatments that work. You will gain a more compassionate and realistic understanding of yourself, as well as learn solid skills and strategies for improving your moods, your functioning, your relationships, and your sense of purpose.
I work collaboratively with you to set goals for their therapy, and I view myself as your partner. I strive to create a non-judgmental, caring and connected therapeutic relationship, where we can work with good humor and deep respect for your values and goals.
I am grounded in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and integrate other evidence-based treatments, such as ERP (exposure and response prevention), DBT and CPT for trauma. I am also well trained in treating body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs, trichotillomania and dermatillomania), and have worked extensively with people with chronic medical conditions.
